I found the motels along the Stuart Highway very comfortable
picture 4e

Sometimes there was not much choice of where to stay for the night, a motel or my tent. When I had a choice, I mostly had a good reason for my choice. When I had clothes to wash, I usually decided for a motel , at least along the Stuart Highway.

In the southern states, the camping sites, in Australian called, "caravan parks", were often equipped with laundry washing facilities. During the last two weeks, I specifically choose a camping site when I wanted to wash clothes. When I wanted to stay the night, a hotel/motel was more convenient because the tent gets wet in the night. Sometimes I felt just lazy, checked my available cash and choose a motel, like here in Kulgera.
