Attractive landscape in the Murray River area

Here, in the border area of South Australia and Victoria, the population density is again very low, with no villages and a long straight road, similar to the Stuart Highway. This area also lacked agriculture and pastures, but offered enough vegetation to make green the predominant landscape colour. For a few days, I had beautiful dry and sunny weather, providing pleasant riding with a gentle backwind.

When I crossed the state border between South Australia and Victoria, I entered a different time zone. Reset your watch. No sign other than, "Welcome to Victoria" informs travellers of the time zone change.
