the most wonderful group of people and I was surrounded by great actors
and it really stretched me.

Joie Lenz: Of course I miss working with Robert, but his dressing room
is right across from mine so we see each other every now and then and
catch up.

Joie Lenz: It wasn't too difficult, there was more pressure on me as far
as creating a new role as opposed to stepping into someone's shoes. I
feel pretty comfortable with what is happening so far and what I'm doing
with her.. and hopefully, it will keep getting better.

Tammy Blanchard: Oh, it's like heaven. I hope I can work with them more
because they bring out the best in you.

much fun! All that dancing and partying!
Tammy Blanchard: They look like fun...
Joie Lenz: We were beside ourselves to keep sobbing, but when it was over
we were cracking up
Tammy Blanchard: It's not fun actually doing the scenes because it's a
lot of pressure when you're in the scenes, but once they say cut, you
can laugh.. especially with Joie. We'll start cracking up after a scene!
Joie Lenz: And we'll be thinking the same thing.. isn't that bizarre?

Joie Lenz: No, I haven't. I'm actually an avid fan of All My Children,
but I started GL once I found out I was going to be playing Michelle so
I could catch up on character research.

Tammy Blanchard: Michelle has a lot of men after her, so I think Drew

Paulo, Mick—I'll take the dead guy—I'll take anyone right
now! LOL

Joie Lenz: My dream car—which I'm not going to get—a '57 GMC

Joie Lenz: Oh great, you had to out do me with the sentimental stuff
Tammy Blanchard: Well, you're 17, I already got my dream car! If you'd
ask me at 17 I would have said my ex-boyfriend!

Tammy Blanchard: Yes! Wanna know why? Because I get to release my anger.
Because I'm usually very sweet and kind, but on set, I get to be the animal

Joie Lenz: No. I've been asked that many times. No, no relation, that
I know of. Unless she happens to be my mother and Donny Osmond happens

Tammy Blanchard: I'd be auditioning and still trying to make it.

Is it weird playing a new character on the same show in such a short time?
Joie Lenz: I think it's weirder for you guys than it is for me. It's not
too weird because they're completely opposite personalities.. Reva was
insecure and wild and crazy and Michelle is pretty mellow and secure with
who she is.

Tammy Blanchard: Listen, Drew loves Jesse :) I can't help it. But, if
it was my decision, then I would take them all ;-) LOL

Joie Lenz: I don't think she's at risk of losing him at the moment. I
couldn't answer that until I saw where a breakup storyline was progressing
to. .. We'll have to wait and see.

Joie Lenz: Well, originally they were going to cast me as someone else
and they decided not to do that.. When I started looking for other work,
they called me back and said "Actually, would you like to come play
Michelle" and I said Yes.

scenes or would you like Drew and Michelle to become more friendlier with
each other?
Joie Lenz: No no no no
Tammy Blanchard: No, we like to spar it out..
Joie Lenz: We have more fun yelling at each other
Tammy Blanchard: Yeah
Joie Lenz: Because whever they yell cut, we start cracking up
SOAPSIE asks: How is it working with Ryan Brown? And where do you hope
they take Michelle Romantically, Joie. Most of us viewers would like to
see Michelle with Bill, because of their great history!
Joie Lenz: Yeah, best friends I've heard always make the best lovers,
but they won't tell me, it's very frustrating. Ryan's great to work with,
he's a perfect southern gentleman. We actually went to the same elementary
school in Arlington Texas. He was in 6th grade when I was in 1st.

Joie Lenz: Well I haven't had too many in depth kissing scenes with him,
but in the cute little scenes we've had, he's not too shabby..

it personally?
Tammy Blanchard: Well, you know I'm a human being and sometimes I think
maybe people get the wrong idea
Joie Lenz: But it means she's doing her job if they hate Drew..
Tammy Blanchard: And at some events, I'll get some dirty looks and that
hurts, but if they hate the character then that's wonderful, it means
I'm doing my job. But I can't wait until Drew gets a little friendlier
and I can show my good side to the audience :)
Raieta asks: Joie, what you do in your spare time? Previous jobs?
Joie Lenz: My previous jobs -- I've done a lot of commercials, I think
my Dr. Pepper commercial is still out and I played Billy's daughter in
Stephen King's Thinner... and a lot of theater... In my spare time, I
play my guitar, write my own music, I sing constantly, I sing in my sleep
probably, I paint, I do most normal things that teenagers do.. I go to
the movies, hang out with my friends, I stay out late and my mother yells
at me when I come in 15 minutes after my curfew :)
dermott asks: Tammy, do you think your Drew grew up from being the spoiled
brat she originally started out to be?
Tammy Blanchard: I think she became more independent and I think she has
a lot more growing up to do, but she's very much alone and it's gonna
take a little time.

Joie Lenz: Well, I would like her to get four personalities and go insane!
But that's not gonna happen! LOL! I'm just rolling with the punches and
taking what they give me and doing my best with it. I think it's all gonna

. I'm usually in sweatpants..
Joie Lenz: We look so ugly when we stumble in in the morning!
Tammy Blanchard: In your pink bathrobe and Elmo slippers!
Joie Lenz: You always have creases from your blanket on the side of your
face! We're like "Coffee!" and the machine only gives us watered
down coffee... They had me cleaved out in a shirt I wore yesterday.. I
totally don't pick out my own wardrobe.
Question asks: What do you never leave your home without?
Joie Lenz: Oh! I have this little pot of lipgloss from Tinkerbell Cosmetics,
it is the best stuff anywhere. If you find it anywhere, buy it it's amazing..
Tammy Blanchard: I never leave with out my purse and everything inside
it.. If I need to take anything. I just shove it in there. I never leave
home without a lot of stuff..
Joie Lenz: And dental floss, I'm a fanatic about that
