"Have I sufficiently conveyed how excited I am?" Paul Anthony Stewart asks rhetorically. The actor, who caused a sensation as do-gooder turned druggie Casey Bowman on Loving, is returning to daytime as Danny Santo, Mick's brother, on Guiding Light. In true Hollywood fashion, Stewart landed the GL gig after Glenn Daniels, the show's casting director, "saw the good mention that I got in The New York Times for [the independent film] Somewhere in the City. I met with him and met with the executive producer a couple of weeks later. And the rest," Stewart says, "is history in the making." The move to Springfield reunites him with Loving love Laura Wright (Ally; now Cassie on GL). "We have spoken to each other's answering machines, but I'm very excited to see her again. It doesn't look like our storylines will intersect, but never rule anything out on daytime." Stewart adds that Danny comes to town to take care of some family business.
