I II III cont. wedding survey

manny story

as lived by their fans

When Michelle came into the diner, Dietz was camped outside the door, and Drew and Michelle started talking about her shadow. Michelle said that he followed her everywhere, to school, shopping, and she even thought he'd follow her into the bathroom if he could get away with it. Drew suggested that she talk to Danny to get rid of Dietz, and Michelle said that was no good because the family thought he was needed for her protection. Drew said that she doubted Dietz would lift a finger to protect Michelle, Michelle agreed, and said that Dietz was actually there to keep an eye on her for Mama Bear. Eleni came over, commented on Dietz's presence, called it loitering, and started to call Frank to complain, but Michelle and Drew stopped her. That's about it. Oh, Michelle also mentioned that she couldn't breathe because there was always someone around, and the only time she had any privacy was with Danny, and that wasn't really privacy.

Tuesday's show, I loved the show. From Manny's talk outside the Bauer house to the end when Danny jogged back into the room. (Well... okay, I don't like Michelle contacting the FBI... but I can see where her character is coming from... even if I want the two together!). Little things I liked: PAS's performance, the little look that Danny gave Michelle as Rick was leading him out of the kitchen, Rick finally getting over his ranting and wailing and telling Meta that he's just going to love Michelle and support her, and Danny finding out more little details about Michelle that makes him fall even deeper, even if he's not quite ready to admit it.

Oh, ITA! PAS was wonderful. I noted that little look Danny gave as he followed Rick, too! I was wondering, maybe a little true respectful fear mixed in with the cocky ease? Ah, and that Rick laying out Michelle's honors and past deeds... Two things I saw: first, it confirmed what Danny already knew about Michelle, and what I feel helps explain the nature of his attraction to her -- a sort of respectful lust. I get the feeling, sometimes, Danny not only has the respectful practicality that makes it possible for him to accept the Old World ways he was raised, but he sees Michelle as the type of classy, smart, young woman he would want to take as a wife and have raise his children under those circumstances. I see in Danny's attitude towards Michelle a sort of passion that has a lot of admiration in it, on some level. BUT secondly, that scene brought up something else: JESSE! Driven home in Rick's comments, albeit subtly, was the fact that Michelle gave up a lot, like Stanford, for Jesse. Did you see Michelle come upon Danny, almost instinctively pulling herslf back, as he was staring at the sketch with that look on his face? Perhaps a mixture of guilt and jealousy over what Michelle and Jesse, that guy Danny had thought of as her little boyfriend, must have meant to each other???? Note, Danny was just staring, but then he started criticizing its form, LOL!

I enjoyed the scenes with Danny and Rick. I liked the fact that they were in Michelle's room when Rick gave his speech. To see Danny's reaction to Michelle's things was nice. Rick gave a heartfelt speech, even if a bit over-the-top! IMHO ;) I continue to feel such sympathy for Danny. I mean no matter his family or anything he may or may not have done, he is still the reason Michelle has any life at all. I mean between Rick's speech, Aunt Meta's look of despair and Michelle faking it, the poor guy! I have avoided spoilers (it has been hard) but I think worth it so far. I can't believe Michelle called the FBI so quickly, I thought she would have realized that she should go slower and be more careful. I have a feeling that things are not at all what they seem, I think we are in for many surprises in the next few months. It's all fine by me as long as Manny stays intact. It looks like Manny might be on Wednesday; the last scene was Danny walking in on Michelle. We can only hope! I'm an addict, but who cares :)

You all will want to reach out and put your arms around Danny. I won't spoil it... but the things he was saying to Michelle... how could she not fall for him.

I agree. I was absolutely breathless while watching that scene! If I had been Michelle, he would have probably gotten lucky right then and there. PAS is certainly an expert when it comes to these kinds of scenes. I can't wait to see what happens next! Weak in the knees after today's episode...

He was trying to explain his feelings to Michelle, he started off all frustrated and kind of shy saying "I don't want to come off as a pig." He was kneeling beside Michelle and he launched into this big long speech. He said "I know I'm not the man of your dreams, I know that... but I am... a man." and he went on to talk about how he had needs and desires. And how he needed to feel like she was his wife. Then the weak in the knees part went something life this "You take a shower, and you comb your hair, and rub lotion into your shoulders, and slip into to some night gown. I'm sitting on the bed pretending to be reading, or listening to music, pretending to not watch you, trying not to, but I am... I am." Then he says "And when you climb into bed next to me it takes every ounce of strength in my being not to reach out to you, I want you, I desire you, I want to reach out to you." By this time he is like this close to her face and is almost kissing her neck or ear or something! I really couldn't tell, I was too busy thinking if I were her I would be turning my heading and kissing that man! It was a really, really great scene. Beautifully acted by PAS. He portrayed Danny's awkwardness, his shyness, and his sincere want of Michelle. Oh and he also said that until the wedding night he wouldn't be sleeping in the bedroom, he would give Michelle some space. Great day for Manny!

It really was wonderful! I just finished watching today's show and I must have rewound to watch that one scene at least 4 times. Wonderful work by PAS as always (the man is amazing!) but I thought JL was really good too. When PAS is about halfway through Danny's speech, JL is as still as a statue -- she doesn't even blink for the longest time, and when Danny leans in really close towards Michelle, near the end of the scene, you can tell that she is fascinated by Danny in spite of herself.

PAS was awesome, and that speech made me weak in the knees. Did you notice the way, Michelle looked towards the end, when his lips brushed against her cheek... She was breathless, and so was I... Can't wait to see more!

Pure perfection. PAS nailed every single scene. He was astounding... I have never seen anything like it on a soap. I was spellbound during the "scene" and did not realize what an effect it had on me until it was over. My eyes were wet, my breathing had stopped and my mouth was agape. They have a goldmine in this man and I hope they realize it.

When Danny and Michelle start talking, she goes to the desk chair and turns the picture by Jesse face down. What do you think? Does she see it in a different way after what Danny said yesterday? Is it a reminder of what she gave up? Is it because she is seeing herself differently? I am hoping the third because I didn't see her as much of a character when she was with Jesse and I don't want any possibility of her going back. At the end of Danny's Desire speech, Michelle seemed to be enjoying his attentions -- the ending of the moment was left to our imagination. Another suggestion to me that Michelle is starting to be torn between Danny, but with his family, and the life she left behind.

OMG, I just watched today's episode... where do I begin? You've all said it so well already. Michelle wasn't the only one who grabbed her throat when Danny left the room! I swear I stopped breathing during his heartfelt speech, and when he told her he wasn't sleeping in their room until the wedding night, I fell in love with the character all over again. I also liked the end of show confrontation with Jesse (god! he's pathetic). Michelle I think is beginning to realize that Danny isn't willing to let Jesse in on any part of her life. These last two days were great and it was good seeing PAS act with Rick. Please tell me we don't have to go 'til Tuesday!

You could just see the anger and jealousy in his actions and hear it in his words. When he told Jesse that if he has anymore of Michelle's things to just call him and he'll be happy to pick them up. That was great! Poor Jesse couldn't even hold a candle to Danny.

Now, Wednesday's show: I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS SHOW! Just when I think PAS can't impress me anymore than he already has... he leaves me breathless and panting. I had been dreading this little talk, and it turns out to be the best scene yet, IMHO. From his voice, to the emphasis on certain words, to his intense expression... perfectly executed, from the first scene of the show, to the last. WOW!!! I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've watched that show.

Again, ITA! Danny's description left no doubt in anyone's mind, even Michelle's, where he was coming from... as a man and husband, whew!
