FBI Agent #1: Danny Santos, FBI. You and your wife are wanted for questioning.

Danny: Okay, for what?

FBI Agent #2: Federal matter.

Danny: Such As…?

FBI #2: Could you step outside with me for a moment, please?

Danny: Actually, no…no, I can't step outside. Guys, come on, this is my wedding night. Your barging into my bedroom….Do you have a search warrant?

FBI #2: Yeah, Yeah, Danny as a matter of fact I do.

Danny: Can I see it please?

FBI #2: Apparently, you and your bride were seen receiving a very large sum of money earlier today…..Now that could be a pay off, that could be money laundering….

Danny: Yeah, that could be wedding gifts…… You ever hear of that? It's a tradition in my family…Money, instead of gifts. There's nothing illegal about that. This is nuts! You know that.

Michelle: Okay, you know what….we should answer their questions.

Danny: Why, Why should we do that?

Michelle: Because, because we didn't do anything wrong, that's why.

Danny: Listen, I'll take care of this.

FBI #2: You could make this a whole lot easier if you just cooperate.

FBI #2: You know…. a few simple questions and we're out of here. Right, Conclin?

FBI #1: Scouts honor.

Danny: I can understand you guys harassing me, but harassing my family as long as I can remember. What does my wife have to do with any of this?

Carmen: That's a very good question, Danny!

Danny: Okay, guys, can we relax? Come on. This is…This is a really special day for me. I don't want there to be any problems.

Carmen: Well, it's too late for that. (turning to Michelle) What's next on your wish list?

Michelle: Why do you keep looking at me?

Danny: Okay….Look…Look…

Carmen: You know why!

Danny: Mama…..Look, my wife and my mother, they're having some problems but working them out is fine…because family is everything…..right, ladies?

Carmen: I used to think so….

FBI #2: You know what, we just want to ask you a few questions.

Danny: Sure…go ahead….ask.

FBI #1: Separately

Danny: No…..no, no, no….. You can't do that. Look, I'll answer whatever you want but leave my wife out of this. She's scared enough already as it is.

Michelle: It's okay…

Danny: No, it's not okay,

Michelle: It is okay, because if we can do it now than we can get it over with, right?

FBI #2: Hey, Danny, you heard the lady…let's go.

Danny: Okay…….I'm sorry, I'm sorry about this. I will make it up to you.

Michelle: It's okay, It's okay.

FBI #1: Alright, let me tell you what this is really about.

Michelle: Yes, please do.

FBI #1: Your friend, Drew Jacobs, called us. Said something about you being forced into this marriage. Is this true?

Michelle: Yes.

FBI #1: She also said that you'd be willing to work with us to help us bust this family wide open.

Michelle: Yeah, that's right, that's right.

FBI #1: It might be too late for that…..It's pretty clear that Carmen Santos already suspects you, which could put your life in danger.

Michelle: You know, my life is already in danger. It's been in danger since I met this family and it keeps getting worse. I will do anything that I have to to bring Carmen Santos to her knees.

FBI #1: Do you know what your in for?

Michelle: It can't get any worse that what I am going through right now.

FBI #1: Trust me….It can get a whole hell of a lot worse.

Michelle: I don't care…..just tell me what you want me to do….I don't care.

SCENE #3 (outside bedroom)

FBI #2: (on cell phone) Yeah, well right now I'm just trying to keep a leash on the, uh, dragon lady here while Conclin questions the girl…….Yeah, I know, I understand that…I'm just warning you that they've already called out the dogs here.

Carmen: (to Danny) Everything that agent is saying is garbage.

Danny: Shhhh…our lawyers will take care of it.

Carmen: Yeah, well, they're not going to take care of whoever's behind this.

Danny: Mama…..

Carmen: You know as well as I do that this is no coincidence. Why would the FBI barge in here unless someone phoned them.

Danny: They have been harassing this family forever, and now all of a sudden you see a conspiracy.

Carmen: Yeah, well, at least I do see. Which is more than I can say for you.

Danny: Look…..Michelle would not do something like that….And, hey you know, since when did you bad mouth someone of this family…especially in front of law enforcement?

Carmen: I know what I'm doing…..I was looking for a reaction.

Danny: Yeah…..At what cost, Mama,….At what cost? You know, you keep trying to implicate my wife and you are going to put us all in danger.

SCENE #4 (In the bedroom)

FBI #1: Okay, we need proof of illegal activities. Names, dates, places, where the bodies are literally buried.

Michelle: I don't know if there's been any bodies.

FBI #1: Look, I don't want to scare you, but this is hard, dangerous work. If you want out now, just let me know.

Michelle: No….No…I can't.. I can't… I have to do this….I have to go through with it.

FBI #1: Okay, we're going to need a go between, a liaison, and it can't be your friend, Drew.

Michelle: Why not, she's willing to do it. I mean, she sincere about it.

FBI #1: Sincere gets you killed in this business. Besides, it's too risky.

Michelle: Alright, well, if you find somebody, let me know because Carmen Santos took my life away and I would love to return the favor.

FBI #1: You keep talking about Carmen like she's your only problem…

Michelle: Yeah, she is

FBI #1: I'm going to give it to you straight. We take out Carmen, we take out Danny too!

Michelle: Why Danny?….I mean, of all the Santos', he's the least dangerous.

FBI #1: Is that what he told you?

Michelle: No…No…Um…Look, he's not like the rest of his family. I mean at first you think he is, but know I can……

FBI #1: But, now you've seen the light, huh?

Michelle: Look, I know what he's trying to do here. You know? I mean, he went to college. He..he's trying to turn this family around…..He's trying to get them into legitimate business ventures.

FBI #1: That's what they all say when they're young and coming up….but once they take over, each generation gets smarter and more ruthless.

Michelle: Danny's different….he really is.

FBI #1: Danny's a bright guy. Very slick and very polished…. Don't kid yourself, Michelle. When it comes down to protecting the family, he'll learn to kill just as easily as Carmen. In their world, it's the price of doing business.

Michelle: No, No….Danny is different. He is not like the rest of his family.

FBI #1: No, not yet. He hasn't had to be. But, his day will come.

Michelle: NO, it won't.

FBI #1: The idea here is to cut off the intended head of the family, early on. Now Carmen is the present, Danny is the future. We take them both down, we cut off the head of the family.

Michelle: Why can't it just be Carmen's head. You said yourself that Danny hasn't done anything yet. He hasn't….

FBI #1: You're the one who called us Michelle.

Michelle: I know but….

FBI #1: You're the one who said that she was forced into this marriage, and she wanted to get out. Well, now it's feeling like your having a change of heart…now it's feeling like maybe you've developed some feelings for your husband.

Michelle: No…No…I just know him a little better than you guys do, that's all. Look, what your suggesting does not seem right to me.

FBI #1: The longer you stay in the family, the easier it is to become one of them. Now, it's either Danny or you. That's your choice.

Michelle: Well, if nailing Danny is the only way of bringing down the rest of the family….. then, I guess I have to do it.

FBI #1: No, there can be no guessing. Either you will or you won't.

Michelle: I will

FBI #1: You gotta keep remembering, you are not his wife, you're his prisoner. And this is your only means of escape.

Michelle: I understand…

Danny: Okay, so…uh…if your done questioning my wife, I'd really love to get on with my honeymoon.

FBI #1: Maybe you need to tell her to be a little more cooperative next time.

Danny: Yeah, well, maybe she doesn't know anything.

FBI #1: Yeah…you're all brain dead. (FBI agent leaves)

Danny: I'm sorry…..Are you okay?

Michelle: Yeah…I'm okay…It's just a little scary….I'm not really used to this.

Danny: I know, I know…..Look, I will never let something like this happen again. Okay? I won't let anything happen to you…..I'm sorry, I'm sorry…. You are my wife and I will protect you with my life!! (Danny hugs Michelle)
