April 21, 1999


The opening Manny scene is the same lines of the closing one yesterday only
they reshot the scene and we pick up with Danny saying how he ended up at
the lighthouse...

Danny tells Michelle that he doesn't know why he is there he was out driving
and he just ended up there.  He said he was sorry that he didn't know she
was here and that he knows this is an important place for her and Jesse.

Michelle says that it is a special place and that she had come to the
lighthouse to think about her and Jesse.

Danny says he's going to leave and he hopes she figures everything out and
he wants her and Jesse to have a good life together.

Then Michelle blocks him from leaving and says she doesn't want him to go.
She says they have to talk about *this* and he asks her what she wants to
talk about.  He says this isn't just about her feelings and that his life
hasn't exactly been a picnic since he met her.  He tells her about getting
arrested and about involving Pilar.  She says she is sorry and asks him to
listen to her because she came to the lighthouse to think about Jesse and
she can't because she can't stop thinking about him.  Then she asks him if
she can be honest with him and he says please and she proceeds to tell him
that all she has been able to think about it lying in that bed with him that
night and she's having a hard time remembering Jesse's face and that scares
her.  She says she is really surprised by the whole thing because it's not
what she expected and she doesn't know what it is and she asks him what's
happening.

Danny says that as he remembers it it wasn't some big romantic evening and
he repulsed her and pushed him away and cried about Jesse.  Michelle says
she didn't want to hurt Jesse and she still doesn't but that Danny is her
husband.  Danny says that the marriage was a lie and Michelle says you can't
tell me you didn't feel anything when you were lying in bed with me, when we
exchanged vows.  She said don't do that because you know you did and he says
they were pretending and she says she couldn't pretend that well if she
tried.  She says she wishes they could go back and make it all as simple as
they thought it would be.  She walks up to him and runs her finger down his
chest and says that the owe it to themselves to try and make this mariage
work.  She has tried to fight her feelings for him but she can't.  She takes
his face in her hands and says she doesn't want to fight anymore and she
kisses him.

Then we see them kissing and Michelle says she knows they can make it work
once they get away from his family because he isn't one of them and Danny
pulls away and says he is one of them and they can't make it work because
she could never accept him...he walks out the door and leaves Michelle
sobbing...then the piano music for the GL theme starts playing and we see
different people in SF and it goes to Michelle inside the lighthouse and she
walks over to the door and kisses it and we see Danny on the other
side...back to Michelle...
