Starts out with M on the otherside of the room walking towards Danny on
the bed.

M: I knew it
D: What?
M: I knew that you were coming back for me.
D: Michelle, you were the only thing on my mind.

They start kissing and thers a knock on the door.
M: I..I..
D: Shh.. who knows we're here other than Pilar?
M: Nobody
D: Are you sure?
M: Yeah, just be quiet and they'll go away.
Knock-knock
C: Danny(Knock-Knock) Danny? Are you in there?It's me.
D: Okay
M: What are we going to do?
D: Let her in
M: I don't think thats a good idea.
D: Let her in, I'll take care of this.
M lets carmen in the door
C: If anything has happened to my son I swear..
D: I'm right here
Carmen looks over at Danny.
C: Oh my God(Danny: Right here((he is standing acroos the room now)) Do
you have any idea how worried I was about you?
D: I'm fine. What are you doing here?
C: What am i doing here?
D: Yeah, what are you doing here?
C: What were you thinking Michelle? What possesed you to kidnap my son
from the hospital?
M: I was bringing him here to recuperate (she leans against D and slides
her hand up his arm to his shoulder and back down again)
C: Here? To the lighthouse?? Well I'm sorry, he's going back to the
hospital where he belongs.
D: No, I'm not going anywhere.
C: No, no, no more arguments this time, you need constant care and a
hospital Danny.
D: I have exactly the kind of care I need right now, (puts his arm
aroundM and pulls her close) Right here.
C: Danny, this is not going to help.
D: It already is helping, I'm beginning to remember what happened that
night.
C: The night of the accident?
D: I remember feeling that I had to hurry back because of Michelle but I
can't remember why. Do you??
C: Danny, I'm sorry but I insist that we have to go back to the
hospital.
D: No
M: No, he's staying right here with me. I'm his wife and he belongs with
me! (she moves in front of danny)
C: Get out of my way Michelle.
D: Mother
M: I'm not giving you a choice Carmen.
C: Stop playing these childish games, If you don't get out of my way..
M: What? What are you going to do..KIll me??
C: I did not come here to fight with you.
M: No, you came here to make sure that Danny doesnt remember why he was
coming back to Springfeild.
C: This is ridiculos.
(Danny has moved over to sit on the end of the bed)
M: Why was he driving back here at 90 miles an hour?
C: Look, I have no time for this nonsense.
M: Why was he so upset that he crashed his car and almost died?
C: It was a terrible accident, now I have had just about enough of this.

C pulls out her cell phone and makes a call
C: Deitz, yes it's me. I found Danny, yes I want you to come here right
away so you can help me bring Danny home.
(Danny has his arm around M and she leans down and puts her face on his
neck.)
D: No, I'm not going home!
C: He's with michelle, it seems as though she kidnapped him from the
hospital and we can't seem to get rid of her.
D: Mother.
He has a flashback of when he was in the car and overheard C on the
phone talking to Deitz.
C: Thats right, sending Danny away is not going to be enough as long as
Michelle Bauer is still alive. She's a threat to this family. In order
to protect my son...I have to get rid of the problem.
Danny jumps up , grabs Carmens phone out of her hand and throws it
acroos the room.
C: Danny! Are you out of your mind?!
D: No, I'm getting it back, I know what you did, I did
C: I don't know what you are talking about.
D: It was you! Mother, it was you, you're why I was coming back. You were
going to kill Michelle.

Scene 2

D: You know what I remember (C reaches out to touch him as he sits back
down) No, don't touch me. I was in my car, was going to the airport and
I called you from the car. I told you..I told you not to hurt Michelle,
that even though I was leaving town to not forget our agreement. I
wanted you to leave her alone!
C: Yes, and I said I would!
D: I know what you said, but you lied.
C: Why would I lie to you Danny? Your my son, why would i have any
reason but to tell you the truth?
D: Oh please, you said you wanted to get rid of her, that she was still
a treat to the family.
C: I don't know what  you are talking about.
D: I heard you, you were talking to Deitz over the phone I heard you!
C: Stop this, stop this, It's crazy!
D: You were planning her execution!!
C: Danny, you are imagining things
D: No, I'm not.
C: I don't know what you dreamt while you were unconsious.
D: You said you wanted it done in a tasteful manner, that you wanted it
to look like an accident.
C: Danny, you have had a severe head trama, your delusional. think about
it, it's possible.
D: No, I am totally clear, you were planning to kill Michelle.
C: No, I never ment to harm Michelle
D: I AM TOTALLY CLEAR!! I know what you were up to! Ahhh.. (he grabs his
head in pain)
C: Sit down, please sit down and come back to your senses.
D: I am fine (He stands back up and puts his arm around Michelle) Is
this true? Did she call you?
M: Yes, she called me and told me to come over.
D: Uh-huh and then what? Did she threaten you?
M: She told me that it was judgement day.
C: I never said that!
M: You never said that? You called me and told me that Danny wanted to
see me and he wasn't even there.
C: Oh listen to her lies.
M: Deitz couldn't wait to do what she pays himfor.
C: Cant you see what she's trying to do Danny?
D: What?
C: She's  poisoning your mind against me.
D: Oh stop, she doesn't have to, you did that all by yourself.
C: You would take the word of a total stranger against that of your
mother.
D: She is my wife! (puts his arm around M)
C: Yes, but i'm your mother. I'm the one that held you to my breast when
you were a baby. I'm the one that walked you to school everyday. I'm the
one that tucked you into bed night after night. I'm your mother!
D: No, you are not, you're not a mother. I never want to see your face
again. (starting to cry now)
C: Can't you see what she is trying to do to you? She's trying to
destroy you, she's trying to destroy this family.
D: No
C: You were on your way out of town to start a new life.
M: His life is with me!
C: His life was never with you.
M: Carmen, you have done everything humanly possible to break us up and
we're together now because nothing worked. There's nothing you can say
and nothing you can do to come between us.
C: Oh really? If my son cares so deeply for you why is it he slept with
your best friend?
M looks at Carmen shocked and then turns to look at Danny who doesn't
say anything.

Scene 3

D; Get out
C: Danny I'm sorry
D: I want you to leave
C: I'm sorry
D: I want you to leave.
C: I never ment to bring this up about Drew and you.
D: Ge Get out
Michelle is slowly circling him, looking at him but he wont look up.
C: You see
D: Get out.
C: You think you know my son, you think he belongs to you but as you can
see
D: Whats you problem. didnt you hear what I said? Get out(he is so calm)

C: He doesnt
D: (walking towards C now) Go home, get out.
C: Danny, I'm trying to save you, now think about what this means
D: He has backed her out the door and into the stariway saying get out
the whole time)I never want to hear from you again, I never want to see
you
C: Okay, I made a mistake.
D: ever again
C: I don't care about you and Drew.
D: Shut
C: No!
D: Shut up!
C: NO NO! Because I love you and that's never going to change!
D: You don't love me, you do't love anyone but yourself. Theres no love
here
C: You look at me in the eyes. Are you telling me that  you don't love
me?You look me in my eyes and tell me if you mean it.
D: after a pause, looking her in the eye) Whatever I once felt for you
is gone,you killed it.
He turns and walks back into the room with M
C: No, no, no danny
D: Stay out of my life
He slams the door in her face)
C: Open the door. Danny listen to me!
She stands there for a second then leaves.

Back inside
Danny sits down on the bed
M: (very quietly) well
D: Michelle...Michelle
M: Did you sleep with drew?
He sits there with his head down, not looking at her.

scene 4

D: Michelle
M: Did you sleep with drew or not?
D: Long pause) Yeah
M: (almost under her breath) Oh my god (she turns away from him)
D: I did. Please, dont. don't turn away from me.
M: No I can't be here right now (she starts to walk by him and he grabs
her arm)
D: Michelle, it was once. It was one time. It was that night that
youtold me that you turned me into the FBI.
M: And you were so disappointed in me that you slept with my friend?
D: No, I was crazy. I was furious Michelle, you betrayed me.
M: So this was revenge?
D: No, look, I dont know how to explain it. I felt likeI was shot
through the chest. I ..I wanted to get rid of the pain, I
M: So Drew made you feel better? What? Make this make sense to me
Danny!! (now she is crying)
D: Drew look, she found out that she was adopted and she was freaking
out and, and we got drunk.
M: And you didn't know what you were doing?
D: I knew what I was doing. I was trying to make it through one of the
worst nights of my life.
M: Wrong answer, I thought our marriage ment something to you.
D: Well, it meant a hell of alot more to me than it ever did to you.
M: How can you say that???!
D: How can I say that? You've made it very clear from the beginning
Michelle that you never wanted to be married to me. That you..felt
nothing for me, that you would never want me like I wanted you so....
M: But that changed Danny!
D: How was i supposed to know that? All you ever talked about was jesse.

M:  Well, Jesse's with Drew now and if he ever finds out about this, I
mean if he even suspects that drew slept with you he's...
Danny looks at her and says nothing
M: Oh my God, oh my god, he knows.
D: Yeah, he figured it out, he knows.
M: I cant believe this, I can't believe that EVERYBODY KNOWS!! I am
never going to forgive you for this Danny, Never.

last scene

Focus on a lantern hanging in the window, M is standing there looking
out the window, Danny walks over and puts his head against the window

D: Look..I.ah..I know it was wrong of me to sleep with Drew. I made a
mistake
M: Yeah, you did.
D: But in all fairness
M: In all fairness?
D: Michelle, I thought that
M; What you think I should forgive you and forget about this?
D: I thought that we were finished, I thought that it was over between
us.
M: Like a game Danny? We were husband and wife.
D: We still are....we still are.
M: Don't be too sure about that.
D: Look Michelle, It's not to late for us. I know how you feel about me
now, you know how I feel about yuo, we can get through this.......What
can I do?
M: Nothing ...theres nothing you can do Danny. You broke my heart.

one other thind Bill and Pilar talked alot about her family and the he
asked her what makes her smile, she named a few things and then said
"and you, you being my friend makes me happy" then they kissed and
caremn walked through the door (at millennium BTW) and saw them, she
walked back out. It really wasn't a good day for Carmen LOL
